I just discovered the lyrics contain a few actual palindromes:

I was so pleased when I read it.

I was so pleased when I read it.

TMBG’s album Flood was 20 years old this week. Rolling Stone has them commenting on every song on the album. They admit that they just made up a lot of words and have since tried to imbue them with meaning. At one point John Linnell admits that putting quotation marks around anything can make it sound more like a metaphor than a jumble.

They Might Be Giants are making it worth having children just so you can educate them. They did it for letters and numbers and now they’re back again doing it for science. I like these kids albums more than I like their recent so-called proper albums.
